About

ALB.ERT.INE THE STUDIO IS:

a Seattle Eastside-based creative studio for individuals and small brands, owned and operated by a Princeton-educated Texan transplant with a background in English lit.

The digital sphere is a democratizing force for the individual or the small business. With the click of a button, we can reach audiences of unprecedented size to sell a product, publicize a blog, or run an ad. Even a job hunt can be enhanced with a beautiful, appealing online presence. With the visibility and boundless potential the Internet offers, it’s important to put your best foot forward by unifying your online brand messaging & imagery. That’s tough to do without an in-house marketing department, so alb.ert.tine aims to be your lean, clean branding machine - think of us as a personal stylist for your digital footprint.

Read more about our approach to creative work here in a feature by Voyage Houston. Browse The Menagerie (blog) for casual writing and personal photography, and see Work for selected past projects.

ALBERTINE THE PERSON resides in Sammamish with her husband, their chatty cat, and more plaid textiles than she knows what to do with. A former fashion writer, she enjoys negative space, deep lakes, symphonic rock, cloudy skies, highway headlights, brisk wind, bay windows, all things tartan, a great piano ballad, and raindrops on glass.

She has written for PurseBlog, Kenneth Cole, and a range of indie magazines. Her photos have been featured by a diverse spread of organizations, including The Atlantic, Travel + Leisure, Houston Public Media, Olympic National Park Lodges, Seattle Met, the Washington Trails Association, the City of Sammamish, Washington’s National Park Fund, and The Northwest Symphony Orchestra @ Benaroya Hall. Additional written work has appeared in publications sold at Seattle’s Elliott Bay Book Company and Berkeley’s Eastwind Books.

In fall 2025, Studio Albertine released Water’s Edge at select brick-and-mortar stores in the Puget Sound region, including three in Seattle. It is the first single-creator, standalone publication by Albertine Haley and is positioned as a premium art book. It was selected for inclusion in the 2025 season of the Issaquah Shell Holiday Shop and continues to be added to independent bookshop and gift shop shelves in the area.

See the Water’s Edge book page for full detail.
